How it all started
Matchie-Matchie was born from a simple truth: the best moments in life are better when you share them with your person.
It started as a joke between two best friends who wanted to wear matching outfits everywhere they went - not the cringey couple-kind, but the loud, proud, "we literally show up together" kind. The kind that makes strangers smile and besties feel seen.
So we created exactly that. Matching black clothing sets, printed with bold custom colours using our Cricut machine, sold only in pairs. Because one is never enough when you've found your person.
The Matchie-Matchie vibe
We're unapologetically fun, girly and extra. We believe friendship is worth celebrating - loudly, colourfully and publicly.
Every item in our collection is solid black (the ultimate canvas), printed with your chosen colour using heat transfer vinyl. The result? Bold, vibrant and completely yours.
We handle everything from our workshop in South Africa, so delivery is local, lead times are real, and when you reach out - it's a real person (your new bestie, basically) on the other side.
Why pairs only?
Because single items are lonely. Everything at Matchie-Matchie is sold in pairs - one for you, one for your bestie. That's not a gimmick, it's a philosophy.
We want every order to represent a friendship. A bond. A relationship worth dressing for. Whether you're best friends since nursery school, work wives, sisters or soulmates - there's a pair with your name on it.
And yes - you can choose different sizes, print colours and phrases for each person. Because besties come in all shapes, sizes and personalities. That's what makes it fun.
